Being now partially disabled I had to switch from outdoor gardening, which I have been a keen exponent for 40 odd years (my Grandfather a professional gardener inspired me in my young teens), to houseplants. I hope this blog inspires others to explore the fascinating worlds of houseplants, exotic and tender plants. It is a rich and diverse world, full of fascinating characters, both plants and people. Enjoy.
nb. this blog also contains posts / pictures on my research into the history of greenhouses and conservatories.

This is a very easy plant to look after and also brings in a nice splash of colour....... it doesn't need a lot of looking after.
Got one here - I do so agree.
