Hey! I love Mexican Hat Kalanchoe! This is one of the easiest plants to propagate as the plant forms rooted seedlings while they are still attached to the mother-plant. I have propagated a number of these with incredible success. They also sell well in private plant-sales :)
Being now partially disabled I had to switch from outdoor gardening, which I have been a keen exponent for 40 odd years (my Grandfather a professional gardener inspired me in my young teens), to houseplants. I hope this blog inspires others to explore the fascinating worlds of houseplants, exotic and tender plants. It is a rich and diverse world, full of fascinating characters, both plants and people. Enjoy.
nb. this blog also contains posts / pictures on my research into the history of greenhouses and conservatories.
